Web Developer – Charlotte, NC
ThoughtSpan Technology is looking for a web developer to build, maintain, and test new and existing web applications utilizing Microsoft Core technologies (i.e., C#, SQL Server) as well as standards compliant HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or AJAX.
Duties and Responsibilites:
- Maintains and tests existing applications utilizing Microsoft Core technologies (i.e., c#, SQL Server) as well as standards compliant HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or AJAX
- Builds user interfaces and back-end databases for web applications using various programming and scripting languages
- Utilizes image manipulation and optimization for use in web applications
- Gathers feedback from design and technical staff on Web site development needs
- Assists in project planning and Web site design
- Develops prototypes and functional specifications for Internet and Web-based projects
- Communicates with clients and peers to help troubleshoot and diagnose bugs
- Answer functionality questions as needed
- Determines new Web technologies to utilize, such as browsers, languages, and plug-ins, based on company's needs
